Fanni is a young adult who was born in Budapest, starting her photography journey in her early teenage years. At the age of 13, she began exploring photography using her mother’s iPhone, driven by a sense of fun and curiosity. After her interest deepened in photography, thanks to her parents’ support she picked up a NikonD3400 which helped to strengthen her relationship with image.
In her early years, she improved by photographing whatever inspired her in her given surroundings. Encouraged by her family's enthusiasm for travel, she expanded her skills by capturing images of every location they visited, the first destination being in the southern part of her home country, Orfű.
Eventually, she proceeded to try out different genres of photography from which she likes most doing is wildlife and architectural photography. In her style, she aspires to be minimal, symmetrical and be able to manipulate light and/or capture it in its true form. She also practices portrait photography.

Artist statement:

“I want my photos to give the audience an immersive experience, despite the lack of happenings on my images. I believe that there’s a lot that meets the eye or rather, our imagination when it comes to minimalism. When people see my photos, I don’t want them to go and say “oh there’s a tree or there’s a butterfly” I want them to say “this makes me feel like I am a butterfly inside a cocoon.” My goal is to create an atmosphere that makes people connect light, shape and colour which also manages to remind them of abstract themes, feelings or even stories. I wish people to define and not to be defined. I’d like to replace “What might the artist have thought about?” with “What am I feeling and thinking when I look at this artist’s photo?” Hearing people’s imagination and way of thinking makes me inspired and happy. Being able to share the creative part of ourselves, despite who we are and what we do, is a conversation I want to start with my images. I believe connecting this way can form meaningful experiences and discussions.
Welcome and thank you for taking the time to view my work!”
